Education Foundation

Time and time again, our Caring, Learning Community has demonstrated its heart in supporting many worthy causes such as the United Way, Jesse’s Journey, and special disaster relief efforts around the world. Now is the time to put that same compassion into our own community.

Every day, students come to our schools hungry, without school supplies, without proper clothing and other basic necessities. We see students who are dealing with unimaginable circumstances in their home lives that tragically affect their learning and ultimately their future.

“Toonie Tuesday” will support those students and their families.

In its short history, the Caring Fund has changed lives in our communities. It has provided toiletries and clothing when a student’s possessions were destroyed in a house fire, purchased winter boots for children in an impoverished family and delivered food when cancer ravaged a local family’s stability and income. These are our kids and our families, and sadly there are many more examples we could give.

Our campaign will add resources to the Caring Fund to meet student needs as they arise across Thames Valley. We are encouraging all schools to join us in this important effort, both during Education Week and throughout the campaign. Every dollar we raise will be directed back into our own school communities.

Together we can make a difference for our students.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Bill Tucker
