General School Description

Located in a quiet subdivision south of Byron Baseline Road and west of Boler Road, Byron Southwood Public School is home to approximately 500 students in early years through grade eight.  

Originally built in 1954, the school has received several additions in order to provide for its current student enrolment. In addition to the exemplary academic program delivered at Southwood, our students have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities. Interschool athletics and numerous clubs (math, science, computer, chess, reading, and dance) are offered as means of enhancing school life. 

Parents of children enrolled at Southwood have the opportunity to utilize the before and after school childcare services provided each day by the London Children's Connection.
