In the September newsletter, the board decision to not allow peanut substitute products was noted. We do have a number of students with nut allergies and we ask that all lunches and snacks be nut free. Another new feature at Byron Northview is the Facebook site for the Byron Northview Home and School. If you have Facebook, I would encourage you to check out their site. I applaud them for taking on this initiative. Social Media is a new reality and they are using it to give information directly to parents. I have been working with the board’s IT department in an effort to set up a section on our web site where parents can provide their email addresses to us. The hope is that communications can be sent directly to parents. As information becomes available I will let parents know.
Thanks you
