| The summer literacy program for English language learners (ELLs) is designed for Grade 7 & 8 students who are at early stages of English acquisition. The program focuses on oral language development and vocabulary building, as well as supporting the development of reading and writing skills. Instructional strategies are used that prepare and further develop ELLs’ ability to participate and be successful in The summer literacy program provides an environment where students are encouraged and supported in taking the necessary risks to develop their proficiency in English. |
