I’ve heard of PLAR. What is it?
PLAR is a process by which we can assess your previous learning. It stands for Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition. We assess your learning from out of Province/Country, as well as help you to earn your grade 9 and 10 credits through a series of assessment tests. PLAR also recognizes learning from sources other than educational institutions. To have a PLAR assessment completed, you must be enrolled as a student at the school.
How old do I have to be to attend Adult and Continuing Education programs?
For day school programs, you must be 18 years of age before the first day of classes.
