| GATEWAY TO LEARNING provides small upgrading classes to adults who may have been out of school for a number of years and are unsure of their skill levels. Programs are free, and learners can join at any time during the school year. Classes are available in |
These classes are recommended for adults who want to refresh and update their basic reading, writing and math skills:
• to get back on track to completing their grade 12 diploma
• to prepare for the GED exam
• to be ready for a job or a job promotion
•
We offer:
• non-credit, learner-centred programming in small classes
• initial assessment of skill levels in reading, writing and math
• introduction to computers
• continuous assessment of progress and regular reports
• help with goal setting
• referral to other programs as needed
